Female Breakdancer

Streetdance is a broad category that includes a variety of modern urban dance styles. The genre is constantly evolving from the earlier styles of breaking, locking and popping to a free, funky and soulful expression of movement used by artists such as Usher, Pharrell, Iggy and Rihanna.

Our classes are high energy using the latest sounds in R&B and pop music. Movements can be a combination of sharp and smooth, with plenty of room to add in your own unique style. We have Junior and Senior street dance classes.

Offered from 4 years of age.

Modern Ballet Dancers

Contemporary is a freeform, creative dance form that combines classical and jazz technique with a sense of expressive release.  The choreography usually tells a story or portrays a theme and relies greatly on the contribution of the dancers themselves to use feeling and imagination.  It is versatile in the different styles of music you can dance to and movements can vary between graceful, beautiful movement to sharp and harsh.

While it explores the ease of movement, it works within the body’s natural alignment and the concepts of flow and weight, rebound and suspension, contraction and release, fall and recovery.

Offered from 6 years of age
